Sideways phone photos
Phones store the orientation as a hidden tag, and some websites ignore it. Rotating the image here and saving it writes the pixels the right way round, so it looks correct everywhere.

Front cameras often save a mirrored picture, which makes any text in it read backwards. Flip H puts it right.
No loss from turning
A 90 degree turn only moves pixels to new positions, so nothing is blurred. Download as PNG if you want to avoid JPG re-compression too.

- Not yet. Rotation works in 90 degree steps. To fix a slightly tilted horizon, crop the image tighter after rotating.
